Technical Product Manager
Our client is seeking a Technical Product Manager for a foundational service platform within a major technology domain. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the next-generation software delivery experience and drive innovation within a high-growth, technology-driven environment.

This role is onsite in Beaverton, Oregon.

Technical Product Manager Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive product strategy, establishing an end-to-end vision and multi-year roadmap in collaboration with engineering teams and business stakeholders.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to align roadmaps with business needs, desired outcomes, and value delivery.
  • Ensure product roadmaps integrate dependencies across various functional areas within the domain.
  • Drive scalable and agile product solutions that deliver substantial value to global tech teams.
  • Provide strategic insights into market trends and industry best practices to inform product and platform development.
  • Track product performance, adoption, and value delivered, and adjust plans as needed.
  • Foster TPM maturity by supporting career growth and role development within the team.

Technical Product Manager Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in product management, ideally with a focus on cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or DevOps.
  • Strong technical background with expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, such as Terraform and Crossplane.
  • Proven experience working closely with platform engineering teams to develop and launch cloud-based products and services.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and influence decision-making.
  • Solid understanding of cloud-native technologies and open-source solutions.
  • Experience with public cloud providers and Managed Service or Platform as a Service (PaaS) delivery models.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and design thinking concepts to shape product roadmaps and strategies.

Preferred:

  • AWS certifications or similar cloud provider certifications (a plus, but not required).
  • System administration experience is highly valued.
  • Empathy for customers and a strong product-driven mindset are essential for success in this role.

Compensation: Up to $65.33/hr. (DOE)
