Senior Technical Accountant
Our client, a growing leader in the renewable energy sector, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Technical Accountant to join their growing team. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting knowledge, experience in public accounting and private industry, an active CPA license, and the ability to collaborate with executives while thriving in a dynamic, team-oriented culture.

This role is a hybrid model in Portland, Oregon.

Senior Technical Accountant Responsibilities

• Review monthly close activities and prepare GAAP-compliant financial statements.
• Develop, implement, and document accounting policies with emphasis on revenue recognition, lease accounting, consolidations, and fixed assets. 
• Analyze complex transactions, including acquisitions, leases, and energy revenue contracts.
• Provide technical accounting guidance and support during audits and due diligence.
• Partner with leadership on financial reporting, budgeting, and process improvements.

Senior Technical Accountant Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Active CPA license. 
• Public accounting background combined with private industry experience; renewables/utilities highly preferred.
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience preparing financial statements. 
• ERP experience and advanced Excel skills.

Salary: $100k-$120k/year + Bonus. (DOE)
