Senior Accountant
Our client is seeking a confident and collaborative Senior Accountant to support multi-entity accounting operations within a dynamic manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate brings strong GAAP expertise, hands-on experience with complex financial reporting, and the ability to lead, mentor, and elevate others on the accounting team. This role is perfect for a self-starter who thrives in fast-paced settings, enjoys problem-solving, and takes ownership in driving accuracy and efficiency across financial processes.

This role is fully onsite in Albany, Oregon.

Senior Accountant Responsibilities

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP.
• Oversee general ledger management, journal entries, and reconciliations across multiple sites and entities.
• Provide mentorship and act as a first point of support for accounting team members before issues are escalated.
• Partner with operations and corporate finance to deliver timely and insightful reporting and analysis.
• Identify and implement process improvements to strengthen controls and optimize accounting workflows.

Senior Accountant Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing or multi-entity environment.
• Strong proficiency in GAAP, financial reporting, and account reconciliations.
• Experience with Oracle or similar large ERP systems; advanced Excel skills required.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities with a proactive, solutions-driven mindset.

Salary: $78K-$120K/year + Bonus. (DOE)
