IT Manager
Our client is seeking an experienced IT Manager to lead and oversee enterprise-wide technology operations, infrastructure, and strategic initiatives. This role ensures that technology systems support organizational goals while maintaining security, reliability, and innovation. The ideal candidate combines technical expertise with strong leadership skills to guide a high-performing team, optimize IT systems, and deliver excellent service across the enterprise.

This role is fully onsite in Portland, Oregon.

IT Manager Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership for all IT operations, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
  • Develop and implement an IT roadmap that advances digital transformation, automation, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Oversee infrastructure and systems administration, including Windows Server, Microsoft 365, Azure, SQL Server, and networking environments.
  • Manage cybersecurity programs, data protection, and business continuity planning.
  • Lead and mentor IT staff, fostering professional growth and a collaborative, customer-focused culture.
  • Direct Help Desk operations to ensure responsive, high-quality support for all users.
  • Manage vendor relationships, contracts, budgets, and technology assets to ensure value and performance.
  • Support enterprise applications, integrations, and reporting initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices to continuously improve IT capabilities and service delivery.

IT Manager Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of five years of progressive IT management experience.
  • Strong background in infrastructure, networking, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Azure, and virtualization technologies.
  • Proven ability to lead teams, manage budgets, and deliver complex technical projects.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Salary: $95K-$125K/year. (DOE)
