Documentum Developer
Our client is seeking an experienced Documentum Developer to support the configuration, customization, and optimization of the OpenText Documentum Product Suite. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Documentum D2 Classic and SmartView environments, as well as integration and workflow development experience within complex enterprise systems.

This role is fully remote.

Documentum Developer Responsibilities

• Configure and customize the OpenText Documentum 24.4 Product Suite, including D2 Classic and SmartView user interfaces.
• Design, develop, and implement advanced workflows, automated jobs, and system integrations to support business operations.
• Support and configure Archive and Content Services for SAP, including replication and link job setup.
• Develop and maintain integrations using REST APIs, DFC, and various Documentum connectors such as Office 365, SharePoint Online, and DocuSign.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify technical requirements and deliver scalable, well-documented solutions.
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing Documentum components and related systems.
• Ensure solutions meet performance, security, and compliance standards through thorough testing and validation.

Documentum Developer Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on experience as a Documentum Developer working with OpenText Documentum tools and technologies, including D2 Classic, SmartView, OTDS, Documentum Administrator, Content Server, and Composer.
• Proven expertise in Java, JSP, JavaScript, Apache Tomcat, JMS, DFC, REST APIs, SQL, and DQL.
• Minimum 2 years of configuration and development experience with both D2 Classic and the most recent SmartView version.
• Demonstrated ability to create and maintain complex workflows, server jobs, and custom email templates within the past 2 years.
• Experience performing Content Server upgrades (version 21.x or higher) within the last 2 years.
• 2+ years of installation, upgrade, and configuration experience with Content and Archive Services for SAP (version 16.x or higher).
• Strong documentation skills and ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Self-directed, collaborative, and able to manage tasks with minimal supervision.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with SAP ECC 6 or S4 HANA Documentum integration, ESB WebMethods, and Content Rendition Server.
• Scripting knowledge with DQMan, PowerShell, or RHEL.
• Proficiency with Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8.x, Azure DevOps, and Oracle Database performance tuning.
• Experience with mobile or smart device Documentum access and Captiva/Core Capture scanning solutions.
• Documentum Developer Certification is a plus.
