Data Analyst
Our client is seeking a skilled Data Analyst for a short-term project role focused on supporting a data migration initiative. The analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data integrity and precision in data handling. This project requires proficiency in data cleanup and strong Excel skills, especially for text-based functions. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools like Atlassian Jira is a plus.

This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.

Data Analyst Responsibilities

• Assist with data cleanup and transformation to ensure accuracy and consistency in data migration.
• Support two teams involved in the migration project by extracting, backing up, and validating data.
• Collaborate with Atlassian Support, Business Intelligence, Project and Portfolio Management, and Technical Product teams.
• Use Excel, especially text-based functions, to parse, modify, and manipulate data efficiently, including handling CSV files and cleaning text fields.
• Validate and verify data post-migration, identifying any anomalies and ensuring data quality.
• Document and communicate data-related changes, transforming technical details into business-relevant information.

Data Analyst Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Minimum 1 years of direct experience in a similar role.
• Proficiency in Excel, with specific skills in text manipulation, CSV file handling, and string data modification.
• Familiarity with Agile project management and tools, particularly Atlassian Jira, is advantageous.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to transform complex datasets into understandable formats.
• Experience in data governance, data extraction, transformation, and validation processes.

Compensation: $34/hr.
