Data Analyst
Our client is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join their team, focusing on leveraging data insights to drive strategic product listing decisions. This role involves analyzing product SKUs, quantities, and more to optimize product selections and inventory decisions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong analytical mindset and technical skills to transform data into actionable insights.

This role is a hybrid model in Boston, Massachusetts.

Data Analyst Responsibilities

  • Analyze data to support product listing decisions, focusing on product SKUs, quantities, and trends.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide insights for decision-making in product creation and merchandising.
  • Develop and maintain complex, scalable SQL queries to prepare data for reporting and advanced analytics.
  • Utilize Python or R to manage, transform, and model large datasets, ensuring data is ready for analysis.
  • Create and enhance data visualizations to convey insights effectively, using tools like Tableau or Sigma.
  • Identify opportunities to automate data processes and work with Technology teams to implement solutions.
  • Approach analytics challenges with problem-solving skills, resilience, and creativity.

Data Analyst Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Analytics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field; or equivalent education, experience, or training.
  • 3+ years of experience in analytics, information systems, or a similar role.
  • Proficiency in SQL, with experience writing complex queries, ideally using Snowflake.
  • Strong coding skills in Python or R, with experience in data transformation and modeling.
  • Experience with data visualization tools, especially Tableau or Power BI.
  • A business-focused mindset, able to apply data insights to drive product and merchandising decisions.
  • Automation-oriented, with the ability to identify and implement improvements in data processing.

Compensation: $54/hr. (DOE)
