Customer Service Specialist
Our client is actively looking for a skilled Customer Service Specialist with a passion for delivering outstanding support in healthcare and insurance settings. The successful candidate should exemplify compassion and a commitment to excellence in service.

This role is fully remote and open to candidates who reside in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, or Utah. Core Pacific Time Zone (PST) hours required.

Customer Service Specialist Responsibilities

  • Efficiently manage a high volume of customer service calls, ensuring top-notch service to all members.
  • Employ active listening and adept problem-solving techniques to fully understand and respond to member requirements, enhancing satisfaction.
  • Conduct thorough research to resolve inquiries, provide clear resolutions, and effectively communicate outcomes to members.
  • Work collaboratively with various internal teams to handle and escalate complex member issues when necessary.
  • Keep meticulous records of customer interactions within the CRM system, ensuring data accuracy and reliability.

Customer Service Specialist Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or its equivalent is mandatory.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering superior customer service in sectors such as healthcare, insurance, banking, or hospitality.
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to engage in active listening and maintain compassionate interactions.
  • Proficiency in typing and 10-key, with a minimum speed of 30 words per minute.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Radar, or similar platforms is advantageous.
  • Capable of managing multiple monitors and systems during customer interactions.
  • Highly organized and proficient in prioritizing tasks and multitasking effectively.
  • Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills to accurately identify and address member issues.
