Claim and Benefits Processor (Hybrid)
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and empathetic professional to join their team as a Claims and Benefits Processor. The ideal candidate will thrive in a structured, deadline-driven environment where accuracy and compassion intersect. This role requires strong analytical judgment, clear communication, and the ability to deliver responsive, high-quality service to claimants and internal partners alike.
This role is a hybrid model in Hillsboro, Oregon.
Applicants must be local to the Portland Oregon Metropolitan area and able to work one day onsite in Hillsboro, Oregon.
Claim and Benefits Processor Responsibilities
- Analyze medical and policy information to determine eligibility and issue benefits for low-liability disability claims.
- Review, verify, and maintain complete and compliant claim documentation from start to closure.
- Provide timely updates and responsive communication to claimants, policyholders, and internal stakeholders.
- Support the team’s administrative functions, including claim setup, record maintenance, and report preparation.
- Utilize automated systems and tools to manage claims efficiently and meet service timelines.
Claim and Benefits Processor Qualifications
- 2–4 years of related experience in claims processing, insurance administration, or a similar field.
- Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication with proven customer service focus.
- Ability to analyze information, interpret policy provisions, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry with a minimum 35 WPM.
