Business Intelligence Analyst
Our client is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst II to support a team navigating a period of transition and modernization. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys simplifying complex manual processes, identifying opportunities for automation, and helping a team focus on strategic, high-impact initiatives. The successful candidate will bring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

This role is fully remote working 7AM-4PM Eastern Time Zone hours.

Business Intelligence Analyst Responsibilities

• Develop and automate recurring reports and dashboards to streamline manual workflows and improve operational efficiency.
• Utilize Power BI as the primary tool for data visualization and insights delivery, ensuring accuracy and clarity in reporting.
• Collaborate with team members to modernize legacy reporting processes and implement best practices for automation.
• Query and extract data from multiple sources, including Azure, SQL Server, and Oracle, to support business analysis needs.
• Perform advanced data manipulation and analysis using Excel and Access to support decision-making.
• Create and maintain SSRS reports, ensuring consistency and usability across business functions.
• Partner with senior BI analysts to manage project priorities and ensure timely execution of deliverables.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend data-driven solutions that enhance team efficiency.

Business Intelligence Analyst Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or related roles.
• Proven experience automating manual reporting or data processes to improve efficiency.
• Strong working knowledge of Power BI and intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with SQL, including the ability to write and modify basic queries.
• Understanding of SSRS reporting structure and functionality.
• Exposure to data warehouse environments such as Azure, SQL Server, and Oracle.
• Experience with Access databases and general data management practices.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while knowing when to seek guidance.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
