Assortment Planning Operations Analyst
Our client is seeking an Assortment Planning Operations Analyst to support a special project aimed at scaling an assortment planning tool across North America. The tool, currently embedded within a complex Excel data book, will be utilized by account executives to reference sell-in data and assist with sales to market partners (wholesales). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in go-to-market strategies within the apparel or footwear industry, along with advanced Excel skills and experience in data storytelling for leadership.

This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.

Assortment Planning Operations Analyst Responsibilities

  • Assist with scaling an assortment planning tool to enhance usability and accessibility for account executives.
  • Analyze and streamline data presentation within a large and complex Excel data book.
  • Develop clear, impactful documentation that communicates complex information to diverse leadership levels.
  • Conduct operational analyses to assess efficiency, capacity utilization, and overall effectiveness.
  • Track, maintain, and report key performance metrics using business scorecards.
  • Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and process deviations, proposing actionable solutions.
  • Facilitate brainstorming sessions and workshops to encourage continuous improvement and innovation.
  • Map and document business processes, creating visual tools such as flowcharts to support optimization.
  • Gather, synthesize, and present data to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with stakeholders, ensuring alignment and transparency.

Assortment Planning Operations Analyst Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, with 2-4 years of experience in go-to-market operations within the apparel or footwear industry.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, including VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) for coding and automation.
  • Demonstrated ability to create storytelling documentation for multi-level leadership audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in business process improvement and efficiency.
  • Organized with the ability to track, gather, and synthesize ambiguous information effectively.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience in a partner-facing role within the wholesale business.
  • Familiarity with CODE calendars and countdown processes for product releases or go-to-market launches is a plus.

Compensation: Up to $35.21/hr. (DOE)
