Accounting Specialist
Our local non-profit client seeks an energetic and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to support their team! This role will be responsible for managing both, Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions, as well as assisting with various accounting tasks. If you are an organized, self-motivated professional with strong accounting experience, we encourage you to apply!

This is a hybrid role requiring qualified applicants to commute weekly to offices in Portland, Oregon.

Accounting Specialist Responsibilities

• Handle full-cycle Accounts Receivable (AR), including preparing and sending invoices, reviewing, and processing orders, and maintaining accurate billing records.
• Manage Accounts Payable (AP), including invoice entry, posting payments, and maintaining vendor accounts.
• Assist with month-end close processes.
• Research and resolve past-due accounts, including conducting collection calls when necessary.
• Support year-end audit processes.

Accounting Specialist Qualifications

• Experience with full-cycle Accounts Receivable, invoicing, and collections.
• Experience in Accounts Payable invoice entry and payment posting.
• Proficiency in Blackbaud Financial Edge software.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
