Employers

VanderHouwen delivers professional and personalized recruiting solutions for your Information Technology, Accounting & Finance, and Engineering needs, including Contract, Contract-To-Hire, Direct Hire Searches, and Executive Searches.

Contract – Where a contractor or consultant works for a staffing firm on a W-2 basis under the direction of the client company for a predetermined amount of time. The staffing agency pays the contract worker an hourly amount and in some cases provides benefits. The client company can cancel the contract at any time and the employee can quit the job at any time (although notice is preferred).

Contract-To-Hire – Position starts as a contract and transitions to a full-time, permanent job after a set period of time. This allows the contractor and client company to ensure a good match before committing to full-time employment.  Contract to hire agreements typically have a set length of time the contractor will work as a W2 employee for the staffing agency before transitioning to permanent employment with the client company.

Direct Hire – When a staffing agency provides a candidate for permanent, long-term employment to a client company,  inclusive of all client company benefits. The staffing agency typically coordinates the recruiting/hiring process for the candidate and client but the candidate will report directly to the client company upon hire. The client company pays the staffing agency a “placement fee” upon the successful hire of the candidate.

We offer contingent staffing services for your temporary staffing needs, as well as direct placement services for your full- and part-time openings.

Costs can vary depending on several factors (volume of open positions, level of recruitment difficulty for specialized skill sets, direct hire fees vs. contract/hourly fees, etc.). We offer highly reputable recruiting services for a competitive price. Contact an Account Manager to learn more.

Our Recruiters invest time to get to know our candidates as professionals and as people. They meet with candidates in person or virtually to best understand their skills and personality.
