Data/Visualization Engineer
Our client is seeking a skilled Data/Visualization Engineer to join a dynamic and collaborative team supporting complex data environments. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical acumen in data engineering and visualization, with the ability to identify, trace, and verify data sources while delivering high-quality analytical solutions. This role requires both hands-on technical expertise and the ability to communicate insights effectively across business and technical teams.

This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.

Data/Visualization Engineer Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines and visualization solutions that drive business insights.
• Trace data code to establish the source of truth and ensure data integrity across multiple systems.
• Build and optimize datasets and reports using SQL, Python, and Power BI.
• Partner with engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to translate data requirements into actionable solutions.
• Leverage Azure and AWS environments to support scalable and efficient data workflows.
• Document data processes and methodologies while mentoring others in best practices.
• Contribute to automation initiatives and process improvements across data systems.

Data/Visualization Engineer Qualifications

• Minimum of 5–6 years of experience in data and visualization engineering.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python, with experience building and maintaining data solutions in cloud environments (Azure and AWS).
• Demonstrated ability to trace and validate data back to its source.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI or comparable visualization tools.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Experience documenting processes, sharing knowledge, and supporting data literacy across teams.
• Background in financial data analysis or automation development is a plus.

Compensation: Up to $66/hr. (DOE)
