Merchandising Operations Manager
Our client is seeking a Merchandising Operations Manager to support cross-functional initiatives within the Merchandising Operations team. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments and brings a proactive mindset, strong communication skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building structure from complexity, forming strong relationships across teams, and driving operational excellence in merchandising processes.
This role is a hybrid model in Beaverton, Oregon.
Merchandising Operations Manager Responsibilities
- Lead and optimize central merchandising operations by developing, standardizing, and implementing scalable processes across the organization.
- Drive alignment across cross-functional partners to ensure efficient execution of seasonal assortment and merchandising strategies.
- Serve as a liaison between Merchandising, Planning, and Sales teams to improve workflows and enhance business integration.
- Facilitate workshops, feedback sessions, and training programs to encourage adoption of new tools and processes.
- Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for increased efficiency, clarity, and speed-to-market.
- Support ongoing business integration initiatives and partner with leadership to operationalize new ways of working.
- Communicate project goals, milestones, and progress updates to stakeholders at multiple levels across the organization.
Merchandising Operations Manager Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in merchandising operations, assortment management, or line planning for multiple product categories.
- Proven success developing and implementing enterprise-wide operational processes.
- Strong understanding of merchandising systems, data, and workflows.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills across diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and deliver results in dynamic, ambiguous environments.
- Experience in project management or change management preferred.
- Background in merchandising planning or related functions is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Merchandising, or a related field preferred.
Compensation: Up to $59/hr. (DOE)
