Information Technology Architect
Our client is seeking an experienced Information Technology Architect to provide strategic technical leadership and oversee critical IT systems. This role plays a key part in ensuring that technology solutions align with business objectives and industry standards while supporting company growth.

This role is onsite in Wilsonville, Oregon.

IT Architect Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement IT systems that meet business needs and evolving technology trends.
• Manage and maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, applications, PCs, printers, and telephony systems.
• Serve as a key escalation point for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to support critical business systems.
• Provide recommendations to leadership on IT policies, procedures, and system improvements.
• Assist in developing and executing the IT roadmap, ensuring alignment with company goals.
• Offer guidance on IT security, data management, and backup solutions.
• Support IT projects related to infrastructure, web technologies, and database systems.
• Participate in hiring, training, and performance management of IT staff.
• Conduct system audits and provide reports on IT performance and areas for improvement.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

IT Architect Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 7 years in IT management.
• Proven experience in an IT Architect or similar leadership role.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Expertise in server infrastructure, network architecture, security, and storage systems.
• Advanced knowledge of RedHat and Debian-based Linux, as well as PICK Multi-Value Databases (jBASE).
• Experience with virtual machines (Proxmox, VMware) and network-attached storage (TrueNAS).
• Proficiency in Apache web server, network routing, and IP-based phone systems.
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365 administration, disaster recovery planning, and IT infrastructure management.
• Ability to collaborate in a team-oriented environment and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
• Working knowledge of Git, PHP, and general programming.

Salary: $130k-$140k/year. (DOE)
